OUR SHARED UNDERSTANDING

Policies and guidelines.

Three Ring Travel Group · GoNaked Travel · Dorothy Travel · Us and Away Travel

Adapted October 15, 2026, from the GoNaked Events policies updated May 19, 2026.

Be considerate. Ask first. Take care of yourself and the people around you. These shared policies help us travel well together.

Trip-specific terms provided at booking govern if they differ from these general policies, subject to applicable law. Registration and payment take place on the linked trip or booking website. Your booking agreement identifies the legal organizer, required waivers and the terms you accept.

Code of conduct

Our shared goal is simple: a safe, enjoyable journey where everyone feels respected. These policies apply to travelers, guests, staff and volunteers across GoNaked Travel, Dorothy Travel and Us and Away Travel.

Eligibility, identification and registration

  • All journeys are for adults aged 18 or older. A particular departure, activity, venue or local law may require a higher minimum age, including 21; the requirements given at booking apply.
  • Respect every traveler, regardless of gender, sexuality, race or background. GoNaked Travel serves adult men in a gay-centered community; Dorothy Travel and Us and Away Travel welcome the adult audiences described for each journey.
  • Provide a valid government-issued photo ID or passport showing a recognizable photograph and your date of birth. International travelers must carry the identification and valid passport required for their itinerary. Entry may be refused if age or identity cannot be verified.
  • Registration is not transferable unless the trip-specific booking terms expressly allow it.
  • You are responsible for your own actions and activities throughout the journey.

Respect, consent and public spaces

  • Conduct yourself reasonably in all shared spaces, including registration areas, workshops, pools, markets, hotel lobbies, hallways, restaurants and group activities.
  • Discrimination, racism, harassment, unwelcome sexual advances, abusive language, physical confrontations and disruptive behavior are not permitted. Resolve disagreements respectfully and ask staff for help.
  • Do not possess, use, sell, trade, give away or bring illegal drugs or illegal drug paraphernalia to any event, activity or venue. Violations may be reported to authorities, may lead to eviction without reimbursement, and may result in a permanent ban from future journeys and Nick Vannello events.
  • Follow the clothing requirements of your departure and each venue. Clothing-optional areas apply only where expressly permitted on a GoNaked journey. If uncertain, ask staff before undressing. Dorothy and Us and Away are not clothing-optional programs.
  • Sexual acts are not permitted in event spaces, restrooms or other common areas. Violations may result in immediate removal from the event and accommodation without reimbursement.
  • Solicitation of sexual services for payment, barter or favors is prohibited.
  • Use designated toilets and urinals. Public urination or defecation is prohibited.
  • Keep public displays of affection appropriate to the setting and respectful of other guests.
  • Drink responsibly and comply with local alcohol laws. Public intoxication may result in removal or legal consequences.
  • Respect Nick Vannello, Three Ring Travel Group, our brands, fellow travelers, staff, venues and partners. Do not engage in conduct that harms their safety or reputation.

Personal responsibility, guests and photographs

  • You are responsible for damage you cause to accommodations or other establishments, and for the behavior and damage caused by guests you admit until they leave the premises.
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law and your booking agreement, the organizers, officers, guests, sponsors, volunteers, establishments and their staff are not responsible for loss or injury to your person or property arising from participation. The liability and release provisions below explain the scope of this policy.
  • Ask permission before photographing, posting, tagging or sharing images of other travelers, especially in clothing-optional settings. Respect privacy and a person’s decision not to be photographed.
  • Public venues may include people outside our group, and we cannot guarantee control over all photographs or their publication. If you do not wish to be photographed, tell the photographer immediately. If an unwanted image appears online, ask the person who posted it to remove it and contact staff for assistance.

Removal and future participation

Nick Vannello, authorized staff, venue staff or their representatives may refuse registration or remove a participant for violating these guidelines. Removal for misconduct may be without a refund of registration, accommodation or other fees, subject to applicable law and the booking agreement. Repeated or serious violations may result in a permanent ban.

Physical or disruptive verbal altercations can result in dismissal at the organizers’ discretion. A disruption requiring law enforcement may result in immediate dismissal from the journey and accommodation without refund, and a permanent ban from future programs.

Limitation of liability

Three Ring Travel Group is the parent brand used on this website. Your booking agreement identifies the legal organizer and contracting parties for your journey; this policy does not create or rename a legal company. References to the organizer below include Nick Vannello and the legal organizer identified in that agreement.

Accommodations, meals, tours, transportation and related services are supplied by independent companies and individuals, not employees or agents of the organizer. The organizer arranges these services as an agent for the individual traveler. Each supplier’s services are subject to its own contract and the laws of the place where they are provided.

Although we seek reputable suppliers, to the extent permitted by law the organizer is not liable for delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, irregularity, injury, death or property damage caused by a supplier’s negligence, intentional or wrongful acts, or failure to provide services.

To the extent permitted by law, liability exclusions also apply to losses arising from natural events, pandemics, epidemics, detention, quarantine, weather, strikes, civil disturbance, theft, negligence, supplier default, government regulations, terrorism, war, or transportation that fails to arrive or depart as scheduled. No provision excludes liability or a consumer right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Changes, cancellations and participation

The organizer may substitute hotels or group leaders, alter an itinerary when necessary or advisable, or cancel a trip before departure. Refunds are governed by the cancellations and refunds section and the trip-specific agreement. Subject to applicable law, responsibility for cancellation is limited to the refund provided under those terms.

A participant may be declined or not retained when their conduct, health or ability to participate safely materially impedes trip operation or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of others. Such decisions must respect applicable law. Where a refund is due under the agreement, the organizer’s responsibility is limited to unused land services, subject to recoverability and any mandatory rights.

An advertised presenter or leader’s cancellation does not by itself entitle a traveler to a refund, except where required by law or the trip agreement. If Nick Vannello withdraws his own participation, every effort will be made to return deposits and payments not already sent to air or other travel suppliers, under the applicable cancellation terms.

To the extent permitted by law, the organizer is not responsible for physical, mental or emotional reactions, trauma or other ailments experienced during or after a journey in connection with sites, leaders, workshops, sessions or private sessions with facilitators or presenters. Participation remains subject to the terms accepted at booking.

Insurance and carrier contracts

Appropriate travel accident, baggage, supplier-default and trip-cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. Review the policy, explanatory information, exclusions and coverage limits before purchasing. Insurance covers only the risks and circumstances expressly included in the policy; it is not a guarantee of a refund.

Airlines and transportation companies are not responsible for acts, omissions or events occurring while passengers are not on their conveyances. The carrier’s issued passenger contract governs the relationship between that carrier and the traveler.

Traveler responsibility

  • Choose a journey appropriate to your interests, abilities and health. Read the itinerary and pre-departure information and discuss suitability with your physician when appropriate.
  • Read, accept and follow the trip-specific terms and conditions, including participation, cancellation and refund provisions.
  • Obtain all required travel documents and visas and ensure that they remain valid for the full journey and any required period beyond it.
  • Comply with the health, entry and vaccination requirements of every country visited.
  • Bring the clothing, medicines, supplies and equipment recommended in your pre-departure information.
  • Participate with compassion and respect for fellow travelers and staff.

Release of liability

Read this section carefully. A release accepted as part of your booking can affect your legal rights. Reading this website alone is not a signature or acceptance of a waiver; any required agreement is presented through the booking process.

Assumption of risks

Travel, especially international travel and journeys to remote areas, involves risks of illness, injury and death. These may include natural forces, civil unrest, terrorism, road conditions, animals, insects, reptiles, plants, altitude, accidents, limited evacuation options, unavailable medical supplies, inadequate medical care, and hotels, trails, vehicles or boats maintained to standards different from those familiar at home in the United States or Mexico.

Risks may also include negligence by the organizer or affiliated organizations, employees, teachers, volunteers or other providers. To the extent permitted by law and the signed trip agreement, participants voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with the activities they choose. Part of the enjoyment of adventure travel may come from experiences beyond the familiar safety of home or work.

Scope of the release

Subject to applicable law and the agreement accepted at booking, a participant agrees, on behalf of themselves and to the extent legally permitted their heirs, legal representatives and family, not to bring claims against Nick Vannello, the identified legal organizer, or affiliated agents, employees, teachers and volunteers for bodily injury, death, emotional trauma or property damage arising from participation.

The release includes claims arising from negligence or carelessness only to the extent such claims may lawfully be released. It does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Subject to mandatory legal rights, the organizer’s liability is limited to the land cost of the trip. Applications remain subject to acceptance by the organizer.

Disputes, governing law and venue

Submit refund requests using the cancellation and refund procedures rather than treating a payment dispute as a substitute for a cancellation request. Nothing here waives statutory cardholder or consumer dispute rights.

The source booking terms specify acceptance in Cleveland, Ohio, construction under Ohio law, and exclusive legal venue in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. These provisions apply where incorporated into your trip agreement, subject to applicable law and any mandatory jurisdiction or consumer protections. Check your booking agreement for the contracting entity and controlling dispute terms.

Knowing and voluntary agreement

Before signing a required release, read and understand the full trip agreement, traveler responsibilities, cancellations and refunds, and the release of liability. Ask questions before accepting. Any required signature must be given knowingly and voluntarily through the booking process.

Cancellations and refunds

All deposits are non-refundable. The standard source policy states that a deposit is $500 per person in most cases; the actual deposit and any different cancellation terms for your departure are specified at booking.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Unless the trip-specific agreement states otherwise, the following deductions apply to customers without applicable refund protection, based on the number of days before departure.

Cancellation deductions before departure
Written notice before departureAmount deducted from payments
120 days or moreNon-refundable deposit, plus 20% of additional funds paid.
90–119 daysNon-refundable deposit, plus 50% of additional funds paid.
60–89 daysNon-refundable deposit, plus 75% of additional funds paid.
59 days or fewerAll funds paid; no refund.

Insurance and refund protection

If you purchased WanderWell insurance and have a valid covered reason for a claim, the insurance policy governs the claim and the cancellation deductions may not determine the insurance benefit. Coverage depends on your actual policy; this website does not confirm that insurance or refund protection is included or available for every trip.

Trip-cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. An insurer determines claim eligibility and benefits under its own terms.

When the organizer cancels

The organizer may cancel a retreat or journey if minimum participation requirements are not met. If canceled for this reason, all monies paid to the organizer for that retreat or journey will be refunded.

The organizer may also cancel before departure for circumstances beyond its control, including natural events, war, labor strikes, government actions or other circumstances making operation impractical or impossible.

Substantial non-refundable supplier payments may be made well before departure. If cancellation is due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, refunds are limited to recoverable amounts not already paid to suppliers, subject to applicable law and the trip-specific agreement.

Written requests and deadlines

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the scheduled return date. Send written cancellation and refund requests to Nick Vannello at nick@gonakedevents.com, identifying the traveler and journey. Retain a copy of your request.

The source policy also provides the following postal address for its named legal companies: GoNaked Magazine, LLC & GoNaked Travels, LLC, 3199 West Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44111, and the email nick.gnmg@gmail.com. Use the legal organizer and notice instructions identified in your booking agreement for any formal notice.

Infectious disease liability waiver

Travel, cruises, retreats, group events and social gatherings can involve exposure to communicable diseases, viruses and bacteria, including COVID-19, influenza, RSV, norovirus, hantavirus and other known or emerging illnesses.

By choosing to participate and accepting any required booking waiver, participants voluntarily assume the risks of exposure, illness, injury, quarantine, medical treatment, interruption and other related complications, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Do not attend while knowingly ill with a contagious condition that may place other guests at risk.

To the extent permitted by law and the signed agreement, the released parties—Nick Vannello, the legal organizer identified at booking, event venues, accommodation and transportation providers, contractors, affiliated partners, sponsors, employees, volunteers and agents—are not liable for illness, injury, death, loss, delay, quarantine, medical expense, travel disruption or other damages arising from communicable-disease exposure related to participation.

Health regulations, entry requirements, venue policies and travel restrictions may change without notice. The organizer may implement reasonable health measures, including masking recommendations, testing requirements, distancing protocols or participation restrictions consistent with local laws, venue policies and operational needs.

Any required digital signature is collected through the booking process. Signing confirms that you have read, understood and voluntarily accepted the terms. A traveler who does not agree to a required waiver may not participate in the activity covered by it, subject to applicable law.
